PRYOR, Okla. (AP) -- It's the case of a dog whose bark is worse than his brake.

Police in Pryor, Oklahoma, report a 70-pound pit bull jumped on a car's dash and managed to shift it into reverse.

The owner was washing the car at the time in a car wash bay. Officers say the doggie-driven car backed onto a highway, looped around and finally stopped at an automated car wash lane.

But the pit bull isn't in trouble because it has a license -- a dog license. However, the car was impounded after police say the owner wasn't able to show proof of insurance.
