fuzzydice: The NAACP is not giving us a thing. They're HELPING to gather signatures. And the petitions will not enable a vote to whether or not we spend the 185 million, it just determines if it goes to the streetcar. The NAACP has NO problem spending 185 million of our money on other things.

My goodness, such animosity. If you love the streetcar, or if you hate it, the NAACP is giving all of us the opportunity to VOTE on it. It is an opportunity that I am thrilled to have. If we vote yes, then we will have it, and we should. If we vote 'no' then we should not have this 200 million dollar expenditure forced on us. There is no need to complain, and call names, and attack people and organizations--just vote.

the NAACP and slitherman in particular are not interested in advancing anything, just the opposite. The agenda is to keep the status quo so that snakes like slitherman can profit from the age old argument that whitey is keeping them down. slitherman is still just a con in training. When Jessie jackson sees that he has made a huge score he will invite him to attend a real scam and share in the big $$$$. Slitherman would like to be in LA right now even if he was just shining jessie's shoes but he's not ready yet. When slith makes a big score here you'll know it because jessie and al will be on the first plane in to share in the $$$$.

The NAACP certainly is good at telling people what to do with their money. Charitynavigator.org gives the NAACP 0 stars out of 4 partly because about half of their expenditures actually go to programs, the rest going to administrative expenses. I'm beginning to think the NAACP does not want to develop downtown so they can perhaps ensure a captive herd of sheep that will "need" leadership of the "rhyming reverend" variety.... "they'll follow mo' if you keep em po'"

I certainly don't want streetcars either, but I also don't want an anti-white group such as the NAACP with the likes of Smitherman held up as the only example of someone championing the cause of the common man, because they most certainly are NOT. I've noticed certain news outlets are always giving these groups alot of exposure, which shows media bias. The common folk don't want it, that's good enough for me. I can do my thinking on my own thank you.
