An outspoken Bengals wide receiver may have to rethink his plans to communicate with his fans from the sidelines this year.

The NFL has put a stop to Chad Ochocinco's plans to update his Twitter page during games.

The league already prohibits players from using cell phones or other hand held devices on the bench. League officials say this covers the use of Twitter as well.

On his Twitter page, Ochocinco indicates he still plans to find a way for fans to follow his every thought and move. On Wednesday, he posted this message: "Question? If I tweet during the game and they suspend me, would I get paid during my suspension since it's not a legal issue?"

This statement comes from a man who just two days later referred to himself as "the new and improved FOCUSED 85" in another post.

Time will tell which route he takes.
