You can shop and lunch today while helping out the YWCA's Battered Women's Shelter program.

"A Cultural Extravaganza" is hosted by the group "Women of Faith."

Organizers say there will also be items for sale including cultural and ethnic items of clothing, jewelry, and handbags.

"The YWCA Battered Women's Shelters serves more than 1,100 women and children each year," says Charlene Ventura, President and CEO of the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati.

The event is Saturday, October 31 at noon at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati in West Chester.
