Know Which Roads Are Closed For Flying Pig

In preparation for the city's largest marathon, several roads will be closed. Police want motorists to plan ahead to avoid the closures.

People not running in the race are encouraged to watch and cheer the runners at various points along the route.

Metro will maintain bus service although some delays should be expected. For information about the Department of Transportation and Engineering, visit www.cincinnati-oh.gov/dote

Here is a day-by-day list of where the road closures will be.

Friday, May 1

7 a.m.: E Pete Rose Way- from Broadway to Old Broadway. One southbound lane of Old Broadway will be maintained coming off Ramp LL from Second Street. A detour will be in place directing motorists back to E Pete Rose Way.

Saturday, May 2 

7 a.m. to 12 p.m.:

Main Street/Joe Nuxhall Way- from Mehring Way to Sixth Street

E Pete Rose Way- from Old Broadway to Eggleston Avenue

Eggleston Avenue- from E Pete Rose Way to Reedy Street

Culvert Street- from Reedy Street to Third Street

Butler Street- from Third Street to Culvert Street

Sentinel Street- from Eggleston Avenue to Fifth Street

Fifth Street- from Vine Street to Sentinel Street, and from Culvert St to Eggleston Ave

Broadway- from Fourth Street to Third Street

Sycamore Street- from Sixth Street to Fourth Street

Roebling Suspension Bridge- ALL
