Hey Matty, you must be one of the people who argues with me when clearly marked items don't scan right. Krogers has been playing games with prices and polices and fine print for decades. If you work there you know that, even if you won't admit it. Meijers isn't perfect by any means - they have "out of stock" on common items that irritates me. But they don't play games with prices like marking store brands higher than name brands, or putting price-per-ounce stickers on things that are just blatantly wrong. Or putting up a sign that says 51-60 count (in fine print) shrimp for $6.99, but completely surrounding the sign with $19.99 a bag 16-20 shrimp hoping you won't notice? But nobody in the Cincinnati media will take on big K. Remember K whining about Biggs being "predatory"? Where were the whiners when K's own predatory policies killed off Albers, A&P, and everybody else in the late 70s? Kroger *can* be good - the Hyde Park store is still great. If they just quit the deception (and quit denying it), and have their employees trained in their scan-right so I don't have to make sure I shop when the manager is on duty. And get rid of the stupid card. Kroger could be great without changing their prices - just stop hiding them.

How is it adding 135 jobs for the city when they closed the old Kroger in Surrey Square to open this one?

Actually, the 10 dollar gift cards could be used at a Fred Meyer in Anchorage, Alaska. They are like cash at any Kroger subsidiary. And P.S. Kroger is a great company to work for.

winston don't lie like that. i got one and it is good any time.

The $10 gift card is only good at that location, on Tuesday morning between 7:15 and 7:16, and requires purchase of $20 worth of expired deli meat, and can only be used to purchase expired deli cheese. Check the fine print.

Can't believe Marty will be there since he so against the Union. His opinions of the Union suck.
