An Over-The-Rhine couple has been charged with stealing from the blind owner of The Courthouse Deli.
Sean Crouse appeared in court Thursday morning. He and his wife, Cynthia, are accused of ripping off Kent Parker, who is legally blind.
Parker told 9News the Crouses came into his deli several times on May 8 and told him they were giving him larger bills than they were as they made purchases.
He said he caught to their scheme on early and recorded the events on a surveillance camera so deputies could arrest the couple the next time they came to the courthouse.
"[Stealing from me] doesn't happen very often, but the last two that it's happened, the two ended up in the pen so eventually they would learn. I would hope so, but most people are good anyway," Parker said.
The Crouses face felony theft charges in the case because the victim is disabled.
