A blind worker at the deli inside the Hamilton County Courthouse was allegedly victimized again, this time for a $1.35 bottle of soda.
Police say a surveillance camera caught 52-year-old Robert Carr taking the bottle and leaving the store without paying on Tuesday. Deputies arrested him for theft inside the courthouse on Wednesday.
Carr, of Lincoln Heights, was also found to have outstanding theft and trespassing warrants for allegedly stealing cigarettes inside a local Walgreens store last December.
Deli owner Kent Parker, who runs the store's cash register, has often been targeted by shoplifters because of his disability; however, several suspected shoplifters have been caught through the help of the store's camera system and alert courthouse deputies.
Carr is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
