Two Newcomers In Line for Cincinnati City Council Seats

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- If current voting trends hold true, there will be two new members of Cincinnati City Council when the new nine-member body is sworn in December 1st.

With 23 percent of the vote in at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, the top vote getters are...

1) Roxanne Qualls - Incumbent (Charterite)

2) Chris Bortz - Incumbent (Charterite)

3) Cecil Thomas - Incumbent (Democrat)

4) Leslie Ghiz - Incumbent (Republican)

5) Chris Monzel - Incumbent (Republican)

6) Jeff Berding - Incumbent (Independent)

7) Charlie Winburn - (Republican)

8) Laure Quinlivan - (Democrat)

9) Laketa Cole - Incumbent (Democrat)

Incumbent Democrat Greg Harris, who was named to replace John Cranley, is running 10th.
