Nicholson's Aids Autism Fundraiser

Last Update: 9/02 1:21 am
Several local organizations are teaming up for a fundraiser to benefit autism research.

Nicholson's, the Cincinnati Autism Society and Generation Rescue will host the event Friday, October 9.

The general manager of the downtown restaurant set a goal on Tuesday to raise a million dollars.

He says he got involved because one of his employees has a step-son with autism, and he wanted to help make a difference.

"You can achieve anything that you want to do, realizing your only who you are, but you can do whatever you want to do and hopefully that message will signify to other people to have the same dream and to make it a goal and a reality,” said Paul Stringer, general manager of Nicholson's.

There will also be a silent auction, live music and fireworks on Fountain Square.
