THE UNCLE AL SHOW has been tickling childish fancies for the past 20 years. Like a brimming toy chest, it's chock full of treasures designed especially for small-fry...and no sooner is one treat pulled from the mysterious chest, than another more fantastic prize has appeared to take its place. "We know that children have a limited attention span," says Uncle Al Lewis, the show's popular host. Consequently, when Uncle Al does the hokey-pokey, thousands of little ones are "turning themselves around" with him. "The uncanny loyalty of children to their Uncle Al is fabulous," claims oe sponsor who has been with Al for over 15 years. "The kids really listen to him...if he tells them to pick up their toys, they do...and if he tells them to buy a certain brand of cookie, you can bet mothers will be made to comply!"
A consistent "Number 1" in its time slot, THE UNCLE AL SHOW" boasts a successful 14 month run on the ABC television network, and is currently showing exciting growth in syndicated test markets.
