In order for such a huge building to function properly, we installed four independent boiler units. They provide enough hot water to keep us comfortable.

    It sounds simple but because of the location of the building and a huge glass window-wall facing the southern sky, there was a concern for an adequate amount of cool air. The pumps for the AC units supply enough cold air to the driver units upstairs.

    The AC is a bit bigger than your average household unit. Each of the four units is as big as a house trailer and the side doors are big enough for an adult to enter. But don't think of trying when the unit is operating.

    Below the floors of our building, hundreds of miles of cable were placed to make the magic of TV come to life. All the video cables terminate in the rack room.

    This is the Central Equipment Room. Here you see equipment racks for satellite receivers. The only people who like to come, or need to come to this extra cold environment are our fearless engineers.

    The labyrinth of cables is enough to give you a headache. Think of it as a high-end family theater room with high definition video and high fidelity sound but magnify it to imagine the large scale of our operation.
