Animal Friends Humane SocietyKATO is an Australian Cattle Dog mix…..we think he is between 3-5 years of age. He is completely deaf and blind in one eye, but you will not find a more adjusted and happier dog. He came to the Shelter as an “Owner Surrender”. Not sure if something happened to Kato’s eye or if he was born that way, but again he is a really great dog. He knows his way around and has no fears. He runs up and down the steps and plays nicely with the other dogs.
Kato would be best in a home with older kids, as he does get a bit spooked if someone approaches him from his blind side…..
For more information on Kato, please call the shetler and ask for his foster mom Beth's phone number. Animal Friend Humane Society 513-867-5727We have dogs and puppies Cats & kittens for adoption at:

All breeds are not for all people, PLEASE, while thinking of adding a pet to your life, be honest with yourself about what you have to offer and what would make you happy in return.
Does shedding really bother you, are there people with pet allergies in your home, are you a couch potato, are you a marathon runner? Do you want a best friend that goes everywhere with you and does a dog fit that mold? Your perfect dog is out there, but please do your homework or it can be your "best friend" who has to pay the ultimate price for your decision.
http://www.dogbreedinfo.comSome may be better suited with a fish aquarium, others are great with 4 or 5 dogs and cats. When a pet is taken into your home, they should also be taken into your heart, forever.
