Born and raised in Cincinnati, Adam Marshall calls his position at WCPO his dream job.
After graduating from Lakota East High School, Adam attended Northern Kentucky University where he earned a degree in Journalism. Just before graduation, he accepted an anchor/reporter position in Hays, Kansas. While in Kansas Adam earned 4 Kansas Association of Broadcasters Awards including both 1st and 2nd place for "In-Depth News Coverage."
Adam is thrilled to be back in Cincinnati with his wife Natalie who is also from the area. He is one of WCPO's newest multimedia journalists. Being a multimedia journalist, he does it all from shooting, writing, voicing, editing, and posting online all of his stories. Ofcourse that's before reporting live for the 11 O'clock news.
Adam says he works as hard as possible everyday to bring people in the tristate news they care about. He says the tristate community deserves to know what's going on everyday.
Adam would like to give a special thanks to his stepfather, saying he learned the "ropes of news" from the one and only Chic Poppe. Chic worked as a well known photographer for WCPO for many years. Chic showed Adam the exciting and sometimes traggic reality of working in broadcast news at a young age. Adam says Chic is the reason he loves news and why he chose to be a reporter.
