When did you start working here? March, 2014.

Where else have you worked? Before I came to 9 On Your Side I was a reporter at WTVG-TV in Toledo, Ohio. Before that I worked as a reporter/anchor at WLIO-TV in Lima, Ohio. However, I got my first gig working as the teleprompter operator at WDTN-TV in my hometown of Dayton, Ohio.

Where did you go to college? University of Dayton.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? When it comes to my role as a reporter, I believe it is my responsibility to cover every angle and find the human element of each story. I’m most proud when a story I do sparks positive change in someone’s life.

What are you most proud of in your own life? When I first started my career, my goal was to work in a city where my parents could watch me on TV……..Well I did it!

What do you love about living in the Tri-State? First and foremost, I love being close to home. It’s something that is very important to me. Aside from that, I love that there’s always something to do on almost any given night!

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions? Mt. Adams, Over The Rhine, Downtown.

All time favorites (movies, music, books, shows, etc…)? My top two favorite movies of all time are so different. First there’s Forest Gump. It’s a movie that has everything! It has history, laughter, and great characters. Then there Jurassic Park. It’s a movie that reminds me of my childhood. I feel like the movie has stood the test of time. The dinosaurs still look like they’re real!

When it comes to TV shows I find myself streamling a lot of stuff on Netflix. Top shows in my cue are Breaking Bad, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development and The Office.
