Position: Public Safety & Justice Reporter
When did you start working here? September 2013
Where else have you worked? WOUB News, the PBS affiliate in Athens, Ohio.
Where did you go to college? Ohio University. Go Bobcats!
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? I am most proud of Mission Critical: A Broken Soldier's Way Home, which tells the story of Cincinnati's impact on America's longest war. I embedded with U.S. military troops in Afghanistan in 2014 and followed military medical workers from the Cincinnati classroom to war, where one team would be called on to save a man's life.
What are you most proud of in your own life? I'm proud of being a journalist. I'm humbled and honored to tell your stories, and it's empowering when my coverage inspires others or sparks change.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State? I'm an Ohio native, but I had never been to Cincinnati before taking this job. I was so impressed with the pride that people who live here have for their communities, and I love how much character this city has.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions? I enjoy going out Downtown, eating in Over-the-Rhine and relaxing in Northern Kentucky. I'm a huge Bengals fan, and I wish I had a Marvin Jones bobble head. Who Dey!
