What are you most proud of in your own life? I'm most proud of being a journalist and serving the community to the best of my ability. Being of Egyptian descent, my heritage helps me identify with people that perhaps most others cannot, and I'm extremely proud that.

What do you love about living in the Tri-State? The Greater Cincinnati area has a lot to offer as a mid-size metropolitan area with a small-town feel. From the east to the west, Cincinnatians are a unique bunch with unique stories. It's a pleasure to live, and most importantly, work in the area where I grew up.

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
I enjoy Friday or Saturday nights in Over-the-Rhine at local Main Street bars or downtown from time to time.

I'm a sports junkie, so I love going to Reds games, and Bearcat basketball and football games. You might also find me playing pick-up games of basketball at your local court.
