Where did you go to college? Attended Oklahoma State University for a master's degree (2000-03); attended Western Kentucky University, BA in journalism (1999)
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? I am most proud of the daily work that allows me to inform, entertain, and affect positive change in the lives of others.
What are you most proud of in your own life? I am most proud of getting to see the positive growth I see in a teenager I mentor, having finished a few marathons, and getting to see the excellent work my colleges produce at WCPO.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State? I love the food and growth occurring in the city, along with all the running-friendly neighborhoods I discovered over the past three years training for marathons.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions? Mainstrasse, The Cincinnati Reds, Over-the-Rhine, The Cincinnati Museum Center, Mount Lookout, Hyde Park Square, Independent movie theaters, and most new, locally owned restaurants. I also like the running trails surrounding Lunken Airport and the connected Armleder Park Trail.
All time favorites? TV: Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica, M.A.S.H., All in the Family, Freaks and Geeks, Justified.
Movies: The Searchers, High Noon, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Star Wars, Double Indemnity, Casablanca, Chinatown, Wild Strawberries, ET, Hard Boiled.
