Where did you go to college? I earned a master's in journalism from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree from Denison University.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? The stories that helped fix problems, whether that was pointing out flaws in Ohio's voting system for the NY Times or the threat of foreclosure on homeowners victimized by the Erpenbeck homebuilding fraud.
What are you most proud of in your own life? My wife, Carrie, our three children.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State? Cincinnati has character thanks to generations of natives who had the foresight to invest in great cultural institutions and parks and thanks to immigrants who pump new energy into the region.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions? I'm a die-hard Reds fan, a fan of the Cincinnati Opera, Over the Rhine's bar scene, downtown's restaurants, the region's great Oktoberfests.
